The Gites
Discover out out three authentic gites, each with it own unique atmosphere and charm.
Atmospheric in summer, cosy and warm in winter thanks to the wood stove. Peace, space, and the true French lifestyle, all year round.
On arrival, the beds are made and towels are ready!
Surroundings
Something for everyone, brocantes, castles, old villages, sunflower fields, stunning views, local markets, wine, cheese, hiking, cycling, swimming, canoeing....or simply enjoy a good book with a glass of wine in the sun.
Hiking and wandering trails starts right from the gites and lead into the forest!

Located between Angoulême en la Rochefoucauld, in the Charente department (16).
Train station: Angoulême
Airports : Limoges en Bordeaux, both easily accessible..
About a four-hour drive south of Paris.
Thanks to the microclimate, plenty of sunshine hours and often cooler nights!

I’m Linda, your host at Maison les Lignons.
Together with my dog Aiki, I live in this special place. Maison les Lignons was built with love — a place to wander, to discover, and to feel at home.
Dogs are very welcome!
There’s a large shared play meadow for the gîtes, and from here you can walk straight into the forest, with many beautiful trails to explore.
